Classification of safety equipment: roughly divided into eight categories according to the protection parts:
(1) Safety helmet. It is used to protect the head and prevent injury such as impact and extrusion. Such as safety hat, general protective hat, dustproof hat, waterproof hat, cold hat, anti-static hat, anti-high temperature hat, anti-insect hat and so on.
(2) Respiratory protection. Important protective gear for the prevention of pneumoconiosis and occupational diseases. Such as gas mask, filter type gas mask, filter tank (box), dust mask, double dust mask, filter type anti-particle mask, long tube mask, etc.
(3) Eye protection. It is used to protect the eyes and face of the workers and prevent external damage. Such as welding masks, welding lenses and goggles, general glasses, anti-impact eye protection, organic protective glasses, etc.
(4) Hearing protection. To protect hearing. Such as earplugs, ear muffs, ear caps, etc.
(5) Protective footwear. It’s a brace used to protect the foot from injury. Such as insulating shoes, acid and alkali resistant boots, oil resistant shoes, rain shoes and so on.
(6) Protective gloves. For hand protection. Such as acid and alkali resistant gloves, electrical insulation in the sleeve, welding gloves, cloth gloves, yarn gloves, etc.
(7) Protective clothing. Protective gear used to protect workers from physical and chemical factors in the working environment. Such as insulation clothing, acid and alkali resistant protective clothing, oil resistant protective clothing, anti-static work clothes, chemical protective clothing, fireproof clothing, raincoat, work clothes and so on.
(8) Fall prevention. Protective gear used to prevent falling. Such as seat belts, safety ropes and safety nets. (8) Skin care products. It’s a protective product for exposing skin. Such as skin creams and detergents.
